You need to have a Google account, to install Google Analytics on your blog.

Step-1. First of all make a Google account if you don't have. Fill your required details as shown in the image below and make an account.

Step-2. Now go to Google Analytics, fill your Google account details and login to Google Analytics account.

Step-3. Now Signup for Google Analytics by clicking "Sign Up".

Step-4. Now you have to select whether you want to track stats for a website or mobile app. We are discussing WordPress, so we will talk about website. Fill out required details like website name, URL, category, country, time zone and click "Get Tracking ID".

Step-5 Now you will be redirected to a new page where you will get your Tracking ID and Tracking Script.

Now you have your Tracking ID and Script for your blog. You have to integrate your WordPress blog with Google Analytics using this Tracking Id and Script. You can follow the below steps to integrate your WordPress blog with Google Analytics.

Method-1. How To Integrate WordPress Blog With Google Analytics By Integrating Code In WordPress Theme?

• Copy the Tracking Script from Google Analytics account, that you get in Step-5. (Above Steps)

• Now go to Appearance > Editor from your WordPress dashboard and select "header.php" from the right sidebar. See screen shot below.

• Now find closing head tag </head>, paste the Tracking script just above the </head> and click on "Update File".

Method-2. How To Integrate WordPress Blog With Google Analytics By Using SEO Plugin?

• Go to All in One Seo > General Settings

• Now navigate to Google settings and paste your Google Analytics Tracking ID in the Box "Google Analytics ID".

• Now click on "Update Options" button.

Now your work is done and you will start getting real stats for your WordPress blog.
